Firstborn child of Philip and Liza Colins, he quickly distinguished himself from his younger twin brother Kenneth. Luke enjoyed getting into trouble, wondering off, and messing around with dangerous things from a very young age. He was not able to be slowed down, which would explain why his parents waited so long before giving him a sister. When his mother died at a young age, Luke went from being reckless, to also being an angry individual. He did not deal with it well, and still has not gotten over it. By the time he turned 18, as the black sheep of the family, had spent a year in jail, had more assault and battery records than most people accumulate in a lifetime, and enough Daddy's wanting to run him out of town from their daughters. Once he got out of jail, he took off to Cincinnati. Settling north in the Fairfield area things became far too apparent that it wasn't his cup of tea. MS13 was recruiting in the area, and when he started to mess around with it, it didn't work out well. The aggression he had in Kentucky didn't match what he needed to be with a group all the more unstable than he was. He was able to escape the final ring of recruitment. Rather than going back to Kentucky with a lesson learned, he took off straight to Brooklyn like a hard and hot head. With a change of name, to Ray Fontaine, he was able to secure himself a bit of freedom from his family and MS13. However, when you are 6'4", built largely, and alone, it doesn't take long for people to want to mess with you. With nothing more than a temper to get him by, "Ray" had his behind handed to him a couple of times, and though he won a few scraps, it doesn't grant anything in New York. Until the day Devon entered his life after two months of living in Brooklyn. Devon introduced "Ray" to the underground world of the Mafia. How business was exchanged, how crooked everyone was, how gambling could build an empire. How loan sharking was a great enterprise, if you knew what to do. "Ray" was more than interested, and Devon took him in as his personal protege to grow into the market. Before long, Luke had a record spanning over "Ray Fontaine" that included far too much. As the years progressed by, things began to change. He became more confident, more deadly, less stable, but his sense of personal justice and moralities didn't change. However, at the age of twenty-eight, things began to rapidly change. With the mob losing momentum in its strength and growth, they began to merge with some competition in order to survive and make more money. Luke did not agree with it, and let his distrust be known. But by then, his opinion carried more weight, as there were few in rank above him. The boss granted him leave to go with a couple of Cartel boys that were out doing transactions, and he went along with them. Though when he arrived, things changed dynamically that night. Long story short? He was convicted and jailed for a crime he did not commit. When he went in, there was no bailout this time, no visitors. For the first time in his life, he was alone out of work of his own doing. He missed his family, missed what could have been, and had to get out. When he got out, he went to his apartment, hassled every newspaper in town to report of Ray Fontaine's suicide, and had it posted in the paper of his cremation and ashes being spread. With that done, Luke took off back to Kentucky, hoping to see his family there waiting for him, but was in for a bit of shock. His little sister took off to California, his brother was married and out of reach anymore, and his father had grown old. He stayed on the farm for a while to help his Dad out, but grew worried over his sister being alone across the country and took off himself for a fresh start and to take care of her. Though the fresh start was his main objective, out there, no one knew Luke Colins as the trouble maker, and Ray Fontaine as a criminal. All too quickly, he settled in and met a woman that caught his attention. Someone that could see past all of his bullshit, one that centered him when his nerves went on edge. Despite all things between them, they separated. Though Luke never wanted this; it happened this way, and he took full custody of his son from her. Right now he just wants the simple life, work an honest job, raise his newborn, and stay out of trouble. He kept losing before with that battle, this time there are no more chances. Then only a few weeks later to run into the woman he saw and stood up at twenty-six years of age the night he was arrested, had given birth to his daughter. Unable to leave behind a child of his own, he moved into place to claim her, and her other siblings to keep any discord down. Meanwhile the mother of his child had conceived with his twin sons prompting him to move in with her in a new home in Los Angeles. Random Facts: He loves to eat, he seldom complains. He admires strength, intelligence, and the ability to push back when pushed. He hates pushovers, liars, and woman beaters. Personality: Strong, overbearing, protective, and active. It takes very little to set him off, and though it's a short fuse, he can hold a grudge. He has slowed down in his quick temper since his son was born.
